Order Processing time

Orders placed before 1pm on business days are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 1pm will be processed the next business day.

Deliveries within AUSTRALIA 

Shine Trimmings & Fabrics send out parcels using the carrier of our choice. We strive to send all items the quickest method available, which can and does range from Freight Companies, Courier, Overnight Satchel and Express Post.

When placing orders, please provide an address where you will be located during office hours, as a signature may be required. If you wish to have your parcel delivered and left without a signature please specify this in notes on checkout. Note Shine Trimmings & Fabrics take no responsibility for lost or damaged parcels, the parcel will be left at a location determined safe by the courier driver.

We are unfortunately unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched. Once goods have left our warehouse, we will notify you and advise you of the tracking number.

FREE Delivery on all orders over $150

All FREE Delivery goods will be sent via standard post (should you require express post please ensure you choose this option during checkout – express post charges apply).

Orders under $150

Standard – Shipping rate of $9.95 including GST

All parcels are sent out at a set shipping cost of $9.95 regardless of size or location in Australia. Delivery times can vary, depending on your location. Please allow up to 8 business days for standard delivery. Regional orders may take longer.

Express Post – Shipping rate of $17 including GST

If you require your goods to be sent urgently, please select Express Postage when checking out. Express Post parcels are delivered to all postcodes in Australia next day delivery is available for most orders however please alow 1-3 business days.

Sending Large Parcels

Delivery of larger items which do not comply with Australia Post, such as large boxes, bulk quantities or Fabric Rolls, are sent using Direct Freight. These orders cannot be sent to any P.O. Boxes. Please make sure to provide a fixed Street address for delivery of these items. A signature may be required on receipt; therefore we recommend you provide an address where you will be located during business hours.

Please allow up to 3 business days for these parcels.

All orders have a tracking number, and signature on delivery is sometimes required. If you wish to give authority to leave your parcel unattended at your required delivery address, you must indicate this in the check out with delivery instructions. By giving your authority to leave your order unattended, you understand this is done at your own risk and Shine Trimmings & Fabrics, nor the shipping company, will be responsible for any damage caused to parcels or missing parcels.

Order delivery times are provided, as a guideline and STF do not take responsibility for any delays caused by freight companies.

FREE In Store Pickup

If you don’t need your order sent, simply select FREE, in-store pickup at checkout and once we receive your order we can pack the goods and have the parcel ready to be collected at your convenience.   Once your order is completed, STF will send you a text message to notify you that your order is ready for collection. Please allow a minimum of 2 hours, however, collection times may vary due to busy periods. Parcels are to be collected from our store at 421 Graham Street, Port Melbourne.

Same day shipping.

  • Orders received by 1pm (AEST) Monday – Friday, will be processed & sent on the same day.
  • Orders received after 1pm (AEST) may be sent the following business day.
  • Orders received on Saturday or Sunday or Public Holidays will be processed the following business day.

Sale Shipping Times

During busy times when Shine Trimmings & Fabrics have SALE periods and we receive higher than usual customer enquires & orders, please allow up to 3 additional days on top of estimated delivery times. We will endeavour to send out all orders as quickly as possible.

Holiday Shipping Times

We will notify customers via our Website & the Facebook page, of Holidays & times the store is closed due to Public Holidays & Christmas closure dates. Delivery will not be made during these times.

Stock Availability

Shine Trimmings & Fabrics endeavour to keep our stock levels up to date on the website. However occasionally there may be a discrepancy. We will process orders as they come in (on a first served basis) and if goods are not available Shine Trimmings & Fabrics will contact you immediately to offer you an alternative product, if the stock is discontinued and no longer available, or if the products need to be ordered or have been ordered from our suppliers and more stocks are arriving at a later date, we can advise you of delivery times. If for some reason we cannot offer you a suitable alternative, we will process a refund using the same form of payment used for the original order.

Back Orders

In some cases, shipping may be delayed if any items are out of stock & you want your order to wait until all goods arrive in stock. Shine Trimmings & Fabrics will notify you of these instances, via email or phone. Goods will only be placed on Back Order if you request this.

Changing or Canceling Orders

We will begin preparing your order immediately after it is placed making it difficult to cancel or amend your order. Once the order is confirmed and paid for it is considered final. If you would like to cancel or change your order please contact us immediately and we will do our best to support your request on a case by case basis, however if we have begun preparing your order this will not be possible.

Coupon Codes 

Unfortunately coupon codes are unable to be redeemed once your order has been completed and payment received. If you are having trouble applying a coupon code please contact our customer service team on 03 9646 0072 or sales@shinetrimmingsfabrics.com.au before you finalise your order.

Please note: If you experience an issue after hours with your coupon email us within the sale time and we will provide you with the discount at the next available opportunity regardless of the sale time.

Returns and Exchanges

By purchasing from Shine Trimmings & Fabrics, you understand there are no refunds, credits or exchanges if the products you ordered do not match your requirements or you have changed your mind. Please select items carefully. If you are unsure of anything, please call the store on 1300SHINE1 before making your purchase.

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind, but you can choose a refund or exchange an item that has a major problem you were unaware of. This is when the item has a problem that would have stopped someone buying it, if they had known about it. Shine Trimmings & Fabrics do not guarantee colours to be exactly the same as seen on your screen. We at Shine Trimmings & Fabrics endeavour to make sure each product photograph is true to colour when it is published on our site, but unfortunately the resolution on each computer screen, tablet & smart phone is different. Therefore some colours may not be true and can slightly differ from our original photograph. If you are unsure of colours, we are happy to send you samples of our Fabrics or additional images if requested.

  • There is no exchange or refund on SALE items or products, which have been cut.
  • There is no exchange or refund on Wigs, Hats, Garments and Feather Boas for Hygiene reasons.
  • Shine Trimmings & Fabrics will happily exchange a product that has been sent incorrectly, faulty or is not what has been ordered.

Shine Trimmings & Fabrics will assess each individual return. Please email photos of damaged or faulty goods to info@shinetrimmingsfabrics.com.au for management to assess. Then we can assist you with the Returns & Exchanges procedures. Once your Refund or Exchange has been approved, please include your proof of purchase/receipt or online tax invoice and a completed Refund & Exchanges Form in the parcel with the goods being returned, as we will require all of this to process the refund. Please provide a contact phone number, as we need to obtain your credit card details to process the refund, as our system does not retain your credit card information.

A full refund or replacement of the goods will be offered on most items that have been purchased in the store or online excluding Postage/Shipping costs. Any refund will be processed using the original method of payment. If no proof of purchase can be given, Shine Trimmings and Fabrics are unable to offer a Return or Exchange.

For all Returns & Exchanges, please note the following: For customer security, please only return products via carriers with tracking services or by insured Australian mail. Shine Trimmings & Fabrics are not responsible for lost or stolen returns, or damage to goods caused during return shipping. Please make sure parcel being returned has a tracking number, as this will be your confirmation of receipt by the warehouse. Please note: all return Shipping & Freight costs are the responsibly of the customer and are not refundable. Simply return your products within 21 days of purchase with your proof of purchase & Refunds & Exchanges Form, to Shine Trimmings & Fabrics at 421 Graham Street, Port Melbourne, VIC, 3207
