2016... The Year that Was

With Christmas almost here, the team at Shine would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support during 2016. Without you and your valuable feedback, Shine would not be what it is today, thank you for inspiring us, thank you for supporting us and thank you for giving us the opportunity to help make your creation Shine.

2016 has been an exciting and busy year for us at Shine, starting with receiving the coveted award as Telstra Business Award Finalist. We honestly couldn't have done it without you, our loyal, creative customers. It is a tremendous honour and privilege to be recognised for our hard work and dedication to making Shine the best it can possibly be.

Although 2016 hasn't all been about awards and galas. We have sipped champagne, hosted pop-up stores and loved chatting passionately to you about all things fashion and the races at our Spring Carnival Launch. Created countless handcrafted pieces of millinery artwork. Interviewed Milliner Spring Racing Launch special guest Peter Jago. Helped create so many unique, beautiful, costumes that have truely shone on stage. Provided the bling for what I can only imagine is a scary number of hours of late night beading and packed and shipped thousands of orders to creatives we have connected with all over the world.

We have welcomed new customers and staff and searched high and low to provide you with new product ranges and limited edition styles that we are pleased you have all loved! This has meant we have had to expand our store and introduce a whole new room for our fabric! Which is now full... Although don't worry as you can all expect we have no plans to slow down and will always find room for more exclusives, more excitement and more sparkle. We are keeping it close to our chest for now but we are working on some very exciting new projects in the new year that you have all been asking for. So stay tuned we are working very hard and we will tell you as soon as we can...
