Deliveries within Australia We strive to send all items the quickest method available, which can and does range from Australia Post, Freight Companies, Courier, Overnight Satchel and Express Post. Our delivery instructions can be Signature Required or Authority to Leave. Should you want us to deliver using Authority to Leave which enables you to specify delivery instructions please advise in the notes section on the checkout page. Shine Trimmings & Fabrics take no responsibility for lost or damaged parcels should the parcel be left at a location determined safe by the courier driver. We are unfortunately unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched. Orders under $150 within Australia Standard Post: Parcels are sent out using standard shipping. Delivery times can vary, depending on your location. Please allow 2-10 business days for standard delivery. Regional orders may take longer. Western Australian standard deliveries may experience longer times due to the Australia Post road/rail transport system. Should you live in Western Australia and require prompt delivery we highly encourage you to select Express Post at checkout which will ensure your parcel travels via air. Express Post: If you require your goods to be sent urgently, please select Express Postage when checking out. Express Post parcels are delivered to all postcodes in Australia with some areas having next business day delivery while others have 2-3 business days delivery. You can check the Australia Post website to determine which delivery estimate applies to your location. Shipping Insurance At a small additional cost you can add shipping insurance to your order giving you piece of mind for your delivery. Simply check the ‘Add Shipping Insurance’ box located on the checkout page when you place your order to arrange. Shipping insurance will cover the replacement of your goods if they are are lost or damaged while they’re in the care of Australia Post. Cover is available for parcels valued up to $5,000. Claims can only be made for the replacement of the goods and not for consequential loss due to damage, delayed delivery or loss. If in the unfortunate circumstance you have experienced a lost or damaged parcel during shipping and took out shipping insurance for that order please fill out the Shine Returns/Claims form and provide as much evidence as possible to support the claim. International Shipping *Please note due to circumstances during the Corona virus period international orders may experience significant delays due a back log of deliveries leaving Australia and limited international flights. Shine ship fabrics and trimmings to customers with locations all over the globe including Asia, Canada, Europe, Middle East, New Zealand & the USA as well as many more. Estimated delivery times are 3-10 business days. Cost is subject to the chosen destination country and will be calculated at checkout. Express International: Express international post provides tracking and signature required. Estimated delivery times are 2-4 business days. Cost is subject to the chosen destination country and will be calculated at checkout. Please note: International orders may be subject to additional tax/customs duties imposed by the destination countries authorities. These costs are the responsibility of the customer and may cause delays in deliveries in some situations. Over The Phone Orders Please note that orders received over the phone incur a standard delivery fee of $12 rather than the $9.95 online order postage fee to cover staff handling costs. Phone orders requesting express shipping are the same as our online express shipping fee ($17). Sending Large Parcels Our shipping costs are based on orders that can be shipped using postage satchels up to 5KG. Should your order not fit within a 5KG postage satchel we may contact you directly to arrange alternative shipping which will incur additional freight costs. Delivery of larger items which do not comply with Australia Post (eg: fabric rolls 1.05m or above or boxes over 20kg) are sent using other delivery methods. These orders cannot be sent to P.O. Boxes so please make sure to provide a fixed street address for delivery. A signature may be required on receipt; therefore we recommend you provide an address where you will be located during business hours. Please allow 3-10 business days for delivery of large parcels. All orders have a tracking number, and signature on delivery is sometimes required. If you wish to give authority to leave your parcel unattended at its destination you must indicate this at check out with delivery instructions in the order notes field. By doing so, you understand this is done at your own risk and Shine Trimmings & Fabrics, nor the shipping company, will be responsible for any damage caused to parcels or missing parcels. FREE Local Store Pickup If you don’t need your order sent, simply select Local pickup at checkout and once we receive your order we can pack the goods and have your parcel ready to be collected. Once your order is completed, Shine Trimmings & Fabrics will notify you that your order is ready for collection. Parcels are to be collected from our store at 421 Graham Street, Port Melbourne. Order Processing Times *Please note due to changes by Australia Post during the Corona virus period orders will need to be received before 12pm (AEST) to be processed the same day. Orders received by 1pm (AEST) Monday – Friday, are typically processed & sent the same day. Orders received after 1pm (AEST) are typically processed & sent the following business day. Orders received on Saturday, Sunday or Public Holidays are typically processed & sent the following business day. Please note: During busy times (eg: during a sale) a longer processing time can be expected. Delays of 1-2 days can also be expected if we need to transfer stock from the warehouse to complete your order. We always attempt to prioritise express shipping orders. Holiday Periods We will notify customers via our website & Facebook page, of holidays & times the store is closed due to public holidays & Christmas closure dates. Orders will not be dispatched for delivery during these times. Back Orders In some cases, shipping may be delayed if any items are out of stock & you want your order to wait until all goods arrive in stock.
