Order Processing time
Orders placed before 1pm on business days are typically processed the same day. Orders placed after 1pm are typically processed the next business day. Please note during busy periods a longer processing time can be expected.
Deliveries within AUSTRALIA
Shine Trimmings & Fabrics send out parcels using the carrier of our choice. We strive to send all items the quickest method available, which can and does range from Australia Post, Freight Companies, Courier, Overnight Satchel and Express Post.
As we utilise different postage options our delivery instructions can be Signature Required (with the option to contact Australia Post to request Authority To Leave during the delivery process) or Authority to Leave. Should you want us to deliver using Authority to Leave which enables you to specify delivery instructions please advise in the notes section on the checkout page. Please note Shine Trimmings & Fabrics take no responsibility for lost or damaged parcels should the parcel be left at a location determined safe by the courier driver.
We are unfortunately unable to redirect orders once items have been dispatched. Once goods have left our warehouse, we will notify you and advise you of the tracking number.

Orders under $150 within Australia
STANDARD – Shipping rate of $9.95 including GST
All parcels are sent out at a set shipping cost of $9.95 regardless of size or location in Australia. Delivery times can vary, depending on your location & the postage delivery service used. Please allow up to 10 business days for standard delivery. Regional orders may take longer.
Please note: Western Australian standard deliveries may experience longer than expected delivery times due to the Australia Post road/rail transport system. Should you live in Western Australia and require prompt delivery of your order we highly encourage you to select Express Post at checkout which will ensure it travels via air.
EXPRESS POST – Shipping rate of $17 including GST
If you require your goods to be sent urgently, please select Express Postage when checking out. Express Post parcels are typically delivered to all postcodes in Australia with next business day delivery for most orders however please allow 1-3 business days. Please note Shine Trimmings & Fabrics have no control over delivery items once they leave our premises and we cannot be held accountable for late deliveries caused by third party delivery services.

Sending Large Parcels
Our shipping costs are based on orders that can be shipped using postage satchels up to 5KG. Should your order not fit within a 5KG postage satchel we may contact you directly to arrange alternative shipping which will incur additional freight costs.
Delivery of larger items which do not comply with Australia Post, such as large boxes, bulk quantities or Fabric Rolls, are sent using Direct Freight. These orders cannot be sent to any P.O. Boxes. Please make sure to provide a fixed Street address for delivery of these items. A signature may be required on receipt; therefore we recommend you provide an address where you will be located during business hours.
Please allow up to 3-5 business days for these parcels.
All orders have a tracking number, and signature on delivery is sometimes required. If you wish to give authority to leave your parcel unattended at your required delivery address, you must indicate this at check out with delivery instructions. By giving your authority to leave your order unattended, you understand this is done at your own risk and Shine Trimmings & Fabrics, nor the shipping company, will be responsible for any damage caused to parcels or missing parcels.
Order delivery times are provided, as a guideline and Shine Trimmings & Fabrics do not take responsibility for any delays caused by freight companies.
FREE In Store Pickup
If you don’t need your order sent, simply select FREE, in-store pickup at checkout and once we receive your order we can pack the goods and have the parcel ready to be collected at your convenience. Once your order is completed, Shine Trimmings & Fabrics will send you a text message to notify you that your order is ready for collection. Please allow a minimum of 2 hours, however, collection times may vary due to busy periods. Parcels are to be collected from our store at 421 Graham Street, Port Melbourne.
Same day shipping
- Orders received by 1pm (AEST) Monday – Friday, are typically processed & sent the same day.
- Orders received after 1pm (AEST) are typically sent the following business day.
- Orders received on Saturday or Sunday or Public Holidays are typically processed & sent the following business day.
Please note: During busy times a longer processing time can be expected. We always attempt to prioritise express shipping orders.
Sale Shipping Times
During busy times when Shine Trimmings & Fabrics have SALE periods and receive higher than usual customer enquires & orders, please allow up to 3 additional days on top of estimated delivery times. We will endeavour to send out all orders as quickly as possible.
Holiday Shipping Times
We will notify customers via our Website & the Facebook page, of Holidays & times the store is closed due to Public Holidays & Christmas closure dates. Delivery will not be made during these times.
Shine Trimmings & Fabrics endeavour to keep our stock levels up to date on the website. However occasionally there may be a discrepancy. We will process orders as they come in (on a first come first served basis) and if goods are not available Shine Trimmings & Fabrics will contact you at the first available opportunity to offer you an alternative product, if the stock is discontinued and no longer available, or if the products need to be ordered or have been ordered from our suppliers and more stocks are arriving at a later date, we can advise you of the projected delivery times. If for some reason we cannot offer you a suitable alternative, we will process a refund using the same form of payment used for the original order.
In some cases, shipping may be delayed if any items are out of stock & you want your order to wait until all goods arrive in stock. Shine Trimmings & Fabrics will notify you of these instances, via email or phone. Goods will only be placed on Back Order if you request this.

Changing or Canceling Orders
We will begin preparing your order immediately after it is placed making it difficult to cancel or amend your order. Once the order is confirmed and paid for it is considered final. If you would like to cancel or change your order please contact us immediately and we will do our best to support your request on a case by case basis, however if we have begun preparing your order this will not be possible.
Unfortunately coupon codes are unable to be redeemed once your order has been completed and payment has been received. If you are having trouble applying a coupon code please contact our customer service team on 03 9646 0072 or firstname.lastname@example.org before you finalise your order.
Please note: If you experience an issue after hours with your coupon email us within the sale time and we will provide you with the discount at the next available opportunity regardless of the when your order is finalised.
